Surg Cdr (Dr.) Ravikumar N Hiremath

Dr. Ravikumar N Hiremath is experienced Consultant Physician working at BHS Lakeview hospital since Feb 2024. He has more than 06 yrs experience as Consultant Physician. He completed his MBBS from (Father Muller Medical College, Mangalore) from 2003 to 2009, MD in General Medicine from Command Hospital Airforce-Bangalore from 2017 to 2020. He also completed post MD, DNB in Dec 2020.

Prior joining Lakeview hospital, Belagavi he served in Indian Navy (Armed Forces/Defence) for 14 years as Short Service Commissioned Officer. He has administrative experience of 14 years as Medical Officer/Medical specialist in Indian Navy. He was awarded two commendations/medals by Commander-In-Chief of Western Naval Command in 2012 and 2015 for professional excellence in successfully managing medical emergencies onboard Indian Navy ships. He was also awarded commendation/medal by Chief of Naval Staff 2021 for successfully manging Covid-Pandemic with ensuring zero Covid causalities at Station Ezhimala.

He has good experience in managing most of the medical emergencies with additional knowledge on Heat Exhaustion/stroke cases. His multidisciplinary approach with other consultants has benefitted countless patients. He works with motto of ‘Work is Worship’ and ‘Serve the patients and Nation’.
